Community Support Funds Information
About the Program
The purpose of this application is for non-profit organizations (501(c)(3) or similar) that benefit the running community of Central New York to apply for available Utica Roadrunners Community Support Funds.
Each year, the Utica Roadrunners Club allocates $1,000 to support local organizations, providing funding for activities and projects that promote and/or encourage running as a competitive sport and/or as a means of healthful exercise in the Utica, NY area.
The maximum award per organization is $500.
About the Utica Roadrunners
The Utica Roadrunners are a diverse group of over 600 members who promote health and fitness through running as well as many other activities. Runners of all ages and paces are welcome.
Membership dues support races, training programs, social events, awards, and other activities that benefit the local running community.
Eligibility & Requirements
Applicants must:

Be a non-profit organization (501(c)(3) or similar)

Benefit the Central New York running community

Provide a 501(c)(3) IRS determination letter or other proof of non-profit status
Each eligible organization may submit multiple proposals; however, any single organization is limited to a maximum of $500 within any two-year period.
Application Process
Applications are accepted year-round. You will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. Once received, the Utica Roadrunners will notify applicants of acceptance or declination within 60 days via email.

Reporting Requirements
Organizations receiving funding are required to provide proof of fund usage within two months of project completion. Proof may include a photo and/or a brief description of how the funds were used.
